B: 1/2 c oatmeal, 1/2 banana, chia seeds, b sugar, 10 almonds
L: kale, cucumber, kabocha, beet, 1/4 avocado, sesame seeds
S: 1 med apple
- mid-afternoon I had the biggest headache I've had in years. There was a throbbing in my occipitals and vertigo as I laid down. Of course, studying for boards turned me into a hypochondriac and probably made me panic - all I could think of were the worst possible scenarios. Never self-diagnose when you're learning diseases, lesson learned. Headache lasted 1.5 hours, during which reading anything just made it worse. I realized tonight that this was probably some sort of delayed sugar crash, as yesterday I ate chocolate and cake for the first time in a very long time. I did feel better after eating cake today (below), but perhaps I should avoid artificial sweets for a while.
1 thin slice cinammon coffee cake (Linh's birthday today. Eulanca brought this to celebrate)
3 bites zucchini date cake (thanks, Mark...)
D: 1 entire chicken quarter, tomato/eggplant/tofu/edamame/mushroom/carrot/red cabbage w/ gonjuchang
